I'm a Junior at Limestone College, which is a school located in the small town of Gaffney, South Carolina. I major in Professional Communications and minor in Business Administration, and am also a member of the women's soccer team.
Limestone has taught me many life skills and lessons, including how to properly manage my time, work hard at whatever I engage in, accept others that come from different backgrounds than me, and to push through hard times and find the best out of situations. I plan to receive my undergrad from Limestone with honors in the spring of 2018, and then go straight into getting my MBA the year after I graduate. With that, I want to use my knowledge and passion for marketing and social media, to work for a successful company in their marketing department.
I strive to be dedicated individual with a strong work ethic, who also knows how to find the positive sides of every situation.

During the summers of 2014-2016 I was able to intern at a small television company based out of Fort Mill, South Carolina. One summer I focused on interning for the company's Affiliate Marketing team, and the other summers I mostly worked with the Digital Marketing team.
For the Affiliate Marketing team, I helped the marketing team out with numerous projects including ones that involved me Coordinating advertising events for various company movies including “Savannah Sunrise” and "Christmas in the Smokies." I also researched products for company’s promotional use for various events. I organized the company’s marketing products into categories of different use. I would also help out in the planning and scheduling of the teams business trips.
For the Digital Marketing team, I completed various projects for them including updating and managing the company's social media accounts (Facebook and Twitter). I was responsible for generating screenshots of television shows for the creative department to use for promotional videos and ads. I Evaluated SEO terms to create keywords for social media posts, and I also would research and find new ways that the company could attract more people to their social media pages and websites.
Hospice Care of South Carolina
During the spring semester of my junior year of college, I interned with the Marketing and Creative departments of Hospice Care of South Carolina. Hospice Care of SC is a company based out of Spartanburg SC, but has clinics and offices all over the state. Not only is the company focused on Hospice Care, but it also has a pediatric and palliative care branch connected to the name.
During the course of the semester, I put my Graphic Design knowledge of the programs Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop and past work experience to the test with helping HCSC with various projects. I helped create a homemade promotional item for the company called Hospice Harriet, which was a laminated cutout of the company's logo with facial features added to it. The object was sent out to various company employee's and shared on social media sites with the purpose of spreading the word of the company and its purpose. I also managed, updated, and scheduled events on the company's social media pages. Other projects that I was involved in included creating a radio ad, finding promotional items for the company to give out for certain events, and scheduling and helping plan company retreats and events.
